ORP's first NEW OPERA READING will feature the official piano-vocal workshop of Jorge Sosa and John De Los Santos's new opera, Ofrenda, a "Dia de Muertos" story about an encounter with Death itself that forces the opera's heroine to grapple with the complex consequences of the power over life and death. We are excited to welcome you into the opera development process and give you a sneak peak at the path an opera takes before it fully comes to life on the stage. 

Featuring Twin Cities singers Victoria Vargas, Jill Morgan, Madison Holtze, Andrew Wilkowske, and Jess Felton, with music direction by Lara Bolton and piano accompaniment by Jordan Buccholtz.
